The line graph illustrate how modify different areas of crime which is namely burglary, car theft as well as robbery in Manchester city centre between 2003 and 2012. Overall, it can be seen that, burglary was initially the most popular types of crime, in contrast, car theft experienced significantly increase throughout the period, while that for robbery remained the least significant over the time. To begin with, in 2003, burglary initially stood at about 3, 300, rising rather steadily for another four years to nearly 11, 500. The figure for car theft remained stable at 2000 in 2009. However there was a sharply increase in about 2, 800 in latter half of the year, whereas, robbery rose minimally to about from 500 to nearly 1000 in 2005 following by this figure remained relatively unchanged throughout the period.
