The line graph indicates the number of customers each day at three coffee shops in 2016.
Overall, it is clear that whilst Hyatt Café and Little Hanoi had an upward trend, a reverse pattern could be observed for Grand Fiesta. Interestingly, Hyatt Café’s figure not only was always the highest but also experienced the strongest growth.
At the beginning of the period, Hyatt Café attracted 90 people, which was followed by Grand Fiesta and Little Hanoi, with 85 and 40 people respectively. The number of guests going to Hyatt Café daily had doubled in the next five months, then dropped to approximately 130 people in July. After that, it witnessed a noticeable growth to nearly 250 people in December. Little Hanoi also had an upward trend, but the increase was less considerable. Standing at 40 people in January, Little Hanoi’s figure fluctuated until July, then it surged fourfold to 160 people at the end of the timescale.
By contrast, Grand Fiesta saw an opposite trend. Starting at 85 customers in January, Grandfiesta’s figure rose gradually to 130 people after 8 months. It then underwent a dip to 60 guests in December.
