The changes of the old city JorYe
To begin, Stokeford city has changed a lot but some features are still the same. Starting from the main road, it has not experienced significant changes except for the new roads at the north of the city and the houses number. Also, the post office and the primary school looks like the past but the latest one has been enlarged in the last seventy years. The main changes regard the population number and the new retirement home. We can appreciate how the city has seen a population growth by houses number rising and also, from the two maps confront, we can see how the past population used to be farmers. So, we can suppose that Stokeford principal activity during the ’30 was breeding and farming. In conclusion, nowadays, the old Large house has been converted into a retirement home for the old men and women and, finally, it is clear by the new map that the older shops has been delated.
