It is clear that British people spent significantly more money than people in the other three contries on all six goods. Of the six items, customers spent the most money on cameras. People in Britain spent about 170. 000 pounds sterling on cameras, which is the highest figure shown on the chart. By contrast, Belgians were the lowest overall spenders, with roughly the same figures (under 150. 000 poungs sterling) for each of the six products. The figures for spending on toys were the same in both Spain and Austria, at nearly 157. 000 pounds sterling. However, while Austrians spent more than Spanish people on cameras and books, Spanish people paid out more for console games, outdoor game accessories and cosmetics. The amount spent on outdoor game accessories by Austrians, just over 140. 000 pounds sterling, is the lowest figure shown on the chart.
