The amount of people who were marriages in 1970 and 1980 were staying constant at 2. 5 million people, after that it slightly dropped to 2 million people in 2000. The amount of divorces started at 1 million people in 1970 and it increased to nearly 1. 5 million people in 1980, and then it slightly dropped to 1 million people in 2000.
