The chart provides information about how many students took part in language tests in the UK from 2000 to 2016. Overall, it can clearly be seen that there was a significant decrease in the number of candidates in France, Germany, Spain and Wales, with the exception of others increased dramatically over the time period shown. Besides that, examines in France accounted for the highest rate in 2000, whereas it was only more than Germany in 2016. Looking at Farce in 2000, it is evident that the number of students who sat in language exams reached a peak of nearly 25 000 people. However, this figure then dropped sharply to 8 000 students in 2004. Although it rose to more than 15 000 in 2004, the rate of French candidates fell gradually to 5 000 in 2016. Next, there were 15 000 residents enrolled in language exams in Germany in 2000. In 2004, the number of these students was similar to the French at the same time. After that, it went up to 12 000 in 2008 and reached a low of 3 000 in 2016, which was the lowest. Turning to the number of citizens who enjoyed in language tests, there were 14 000 people in Spain in 2000.
