The bar chart illustrates the number of students who chose certain university in 2005. The information given is based on Male and Female student. The figure is calculated in thousands. Moreover, there are 8 different university chosen. To begin with, female choses Social Sciences, Languages and the Arts as the university subject they preferred. With the highest figure 20 thousand (Social Sciences) and the lowest number below 5 thousand (Languages), the difference is 15 thousand. Meanwhile, male prefer to choose Sciences, Mathematics, Literature and Law as their university subject. There are more subjects in which male chose as their university major. However, Humanities is the only university subject that male and female has the equivalent figure.
