The bar chart illustrates how the US imported seafood in the year 1986, 1996 and 2016 and it also gives a prediction for 2016. The second pie chart gives information on the proportion of the countries which supplied it. Overall, it can be observed from the graph the US seafood usage was increased gradually. At the end of the period, the two countries (China and Thailand) were dominantly controlled the America seafood market. During the year 0f 1986 were the smallest fish product imported to the US which is accounted for around $6 billion, experienced to $10 billion in the year 1996. Then it showed significant growth in 2016. Although, it is the highest amount of money that the US spent for seafood $20 billion. The estimation for 2026 is expecting to be slightly less than from 2016. In the year 2016, half of the US seafood had been supplied by China and Thailand (28% and 23% respectively). Canada made up the second-largest contribution of 16%. Vietnam and Ecuador were the smallest part of the exporter, 8% each. The rest of imported from Indonesia 11% and others involvement was 6%.
