Given is a chart illustrating a comparison of generation and utilization of electricity among ten major countries worldwide in 2014. It is evident from the information supplied that all countries' production was more than their consumption, except Germany. Moreover, China and the USA had the largest electricity production, while Korea had the lowest. As shown by the figure, china produced 5398 billion kWh electricity in 2014, following by the united states in second place with 4099 billion. Although china's utilization was almost the same as its generation, it was 3866 billion in the USA. Meanwhile, the production in Russia, Japan, and India was between around 1000 billion kWh and 870 billion, whereas their consumption was 1038, 856, and 698 billion kWh, respectively. It can be seen that the generation of electricity was approximately 600 billion kWh in Canada, France, and Brazil, while the usage of electricity was around 450 billion kWh. Also noteworthy is that consumption in Germany was more than its production (582 billion to 526 billion). Korea had the lowest amount in both sectors.
