The map provided demonstrates how the city was developed in size to accommodate more residents from 1950 and up to now. In 1950, there were 20000 people lived in this city, including business district and a residential area, on the North bank of the river, which runs from the west through the south-east of the map. A main road runs from west to east where an airport located. There was a government building in the south of the river and a bridge connecting this building with business district. Today, the population of the city increased to 200000. For 50 years the business district and residential area have enlarged in both side of the river and the airport was expanded. The river through the city was converted into the lake by the dam to store water. To the south of the city there is a new government building, while another road and the bridge were erected to connect the south and the east of the city.
