Overall, in the silkworm life cycle there are four main stages, beginning from silkworm lays their eggs on leaves and ending with cocoon transforms into a moth. The production of silk cloth has six steps starting from selecting the cocoon until dyeing the silk. Initially, at the first diagram, the silkworm leaves their eggs on the leaves until ten days the eggs hatch and become silkworm larvae. Then, the larvae feed on mulberry leaves. In four to six weeks, they start producing silk threads which cover around themselves. As we can see, it takes three to eight days to turn into a cocoon and needs sixteen days to break out the cocoon and develop into a moth. Uniquely, this life cycle occurs naturally and continuously. At the beginning of silk cloth production, the first step is the best quality of cocoons are selected and boiled inside a pan that is filled with water. The next step is unwind threads from the cocoons, the threads which are 300 to 900 meters will be taken from each cocoon. After this the threads must be twisted before it comes to the dye process.
