The Line graph provides data about the percentage of senior citizens aged more than 65 in three countries namely USA, Sweden and Japan. The chart illustrates the information over a period from 1940 to 2040. Overall, the USA has shown a moderate rise over the century from 1940 to 2040. Following the similar trend, Sweden has risen similarly. While Japan faced a slight decline in the earlier period, However showed a drastic rise by the end of 2040. Japan started with 5 percent in 1940 and fell slightly between 1960 and maintained the plateau till 1980 and risen moderately and hit the skyrocket after 2020 from 10 % to 25% and reached the highest of around 27% by 2040 While, The US began with proportion of 9% in 1940 and made a slow progress and reached peak of 15% in 1980. Decreased slightly between 1980 to 2020 and increased to 23% in 2040. On the other hand, Sweden maintained a moderate growth from 1940 till 1980 and witnessed a rise of 20% around 2018 and finished by 25% in 2040.
