I design a gap-fill activity to teach English through this song. First, I introduce the singer’s name and the meodoly to students directly. Second, I teach new vocabularies ( computer, bike, DVD, kite, sea, guitar, Internet ) by showing the definition of them along with an example for each word in the projector. After familiarizing students with the song, I give them the lyric papers. In each lyric paper, there are 7 blanks and I will require students to identify the kind of the word in each blank. The words which need to be filled are 7 new words I have recently taught them. Next, I ask them listen to the song carefully in order to complete the task as I play the song once only. I use the speakers to let them listen to the song clearer. During listening, I go around to make sure no one is cheating. When students finish the task, I let them cross-check the result with others and then, I show the correct answers in the projector. If they have any questions about the answer, I will play the song again and pause at the word they asked and explain to them. After that, I show a mind-map in the projector to review those new words for students. Before end class, I let students sing along following the line distribution. Finally, I give them some feedback that they are very active and listen to the song very well, and thank you them for their support.
