The pie charts discuss the percentage of British students from one university in England who could speak other different languages as well as English. To summarize this, the proportions of British students who are able to speak various languages are compared between two years: 2000 and 2010. Starting with Spanish, during 2000, it is found that 30% of British students could speak Spanish very well. However, the pie charts show that the number increased by 5% in 10 years. Therefore we can learn that Spanish was the most spoken language after English during that period. Another spoken language included French, and regarding this it is shown that 15% of students knew how to speak French during 2000. Having said that, by 2010, the percentage strangely decreased by 5%, suggesting a number of graduating student during that time. The last language that we will compare is German. And from the pie charts, we can deduct that the number of students who were able to speak German stayed at 10% for 10 years. To conclude, although some students could speak other languages, 3 different languages are compared for this essay, and we can summarize that Spanish was the most spoken language from 2000 to 2010.
