It is often argued that dependency of one person on other people is becoming increasing in the contemporary world, whilst others disagree with this view and reckon that humans are enjoining more liberty than previous. This essay agrees that modern life forces us to be more independent than people were in the past. Generally speaking, there are multifarious reasons why people deem that present times make people higher dependent. Perhaps the main reason why people are in favor of this view is that in today’s world, humans are always in gigantic stress and cannot find time for themselves. As people do not have sufficient time for themselves, obviously have to depend on someone who does those works. A good illustration is that most of the scientists in the world do not have time for their self, they have to rely on someone for their personal work. However, despite these arguments, many people feel that independency is increasing in modern times. Technology is quite advance nowadays, people can do a plethora of things by using technology. Technology makes our life easier than previous and it also mitigates the dependency to another person. Google map is one example of this, when we go to any destination, it is common that we may do not know the way to that place, by using the Google map we can easily reach our destination without taking anyone helps. In conclusion, it is true that relying on one person to another people do not be abolished but folks are enjoying enormous independency than any time by using advanced technology.
