The number of females are calculated in percentage. Overall, it can be observed that number of women was higher in 2015 as compared to 1980 where less number of women got higher education. In Australia, the number of women in 1980 and 2015 remained fairy stable, hovering at 60% and in South Korea, the number of women was less over a period among all the mentioned countries.
In UK, number of women was arround 35% in 1980 and then slightly increased in 2015 from 35% to nearly 55%. In USA, number of women getting higher education expericened a growth from just below the 40% to 60% over a period of 1980 to 2015.
