The diagram illustrates the development of a salmon fish from egg during its life cycle. Overall, it is clear that there are three significant stages starting with producing eggs in the river and ending with the development of an adult salmon fish in the sea. The first stage is when the eggs are laid between the stones under the reeds, where the river is slowly flowing and it takes approximately five to six months.
