The bar chart depicts the proportion of adults who visited a heritage site in the previous year, 2009/2010, as well as the pie chart demonstrates the ratio of people who tend to pay a visit to a historical site in the next six months.
In general, it appears that adults enjoy visiting historical sites. The historic city or town elicited the most interest, accounting for approximately 55 per cent of all responses. Subsequently, more than half of those surveyed said they planned to visit a historical site in the next six months.
In terms of the bar chart, many sites such as historic gardens, historic buildings and castles, forts or ruins were pursued by approximately 43 three per cent, 38 two per cent, and 16 per cent, respectively. Adults who visited famous communities or places of worship, on the other hand, were about a quarter smaller than those who frequented the above location. The lowest point to attend is an industrial history site, which ranks fifth, followed by a scene of archaeological interest and a sports heritage site, which rank fifth and twenty, respectively.
As regards the pie chart, the ratio of tourists is estimated to increase marginally in the next six months. The best part is that more than half of respondents said they expect to return to historical sites in the next six months. The lowest point, with only 15 per cent saying they would not and less than one-third unsure.
