The given pie charts give information regarding population in six various regions, global expenditure and consumption of resources in two different areas. It is clearly from the charts that people spend less on clothing, housing and transport but pay out more for food and other items. We can also see that USA and Europe has much fewer citizens than Asia, but their consumption of resources is much more than those of other regions. Looking at the figures for world expenditure, global citizens spend a majority of 40% on other items. However, they spend less on food, housing, transport and clothes, with the figures of 24%, 18%, 12% and 6% respectively. According to the two remaining pie charts, Asia accounts for more than half of the world population, with the figures of 57% compared to similar figures of 14% for Americas and Europe, 10% for Africa and 5% for other regions. Although the total population of Europe and Americas are just nearly a half of Asian population, their consumption of resources are 60%, 20% higher than the total of other regions.
