All in all, generating results from the line graph, all household utilises refrigerator and vacuum cleaner after the year 2000. It is also worth pointing out that families are spending lesser time doing housework since the start of 1920. Clearly, the reliance on electrical things shows a dramatic uptrend during the period of 100 years. From 1920 to 1940, washing machines were deemed the most essential in a house, standing at a whopping 60% in 1940 while vacuum cleaners are placed 10% difference away from washing machines. This continues until in 1960, these two had a crossover, and ever since, vacuum cleaners has dominated the market, with all household owning it after the year 2000. washing machines, however, still hovers anywhere from 62% to 75% between 1940 and 2019. As seen on the diagram, refrigerator surged linearly from the year 1920 to 1960, from none to 9 per 10 families using it. from the year 1980, it expanded its usage to everyone. The selling of all the gadgets had a negative impact on the number of hours spent doing housework. With numbers declining rapidly 60 years from 1920, a deduction of 30 hours, the numbers stayed the same, that is 15 hours, for 20 years after that, but then continues to decrease, until only 10 hours are spent cleaning the house in 7 days in the year 2019.
