The bar chart gives us an idea about the percentage of households in owned and rented accommodation in two different places from 1918 to 2011. There is a gradual increase in the percentage of possessed households till 2001. On the contrary, there is a decrease in the number of rental households till 2001. The year 1918 accounts for the highest percentage in charged accommodation. Similarly, 2001 stands above all in retained hosing. During 1971, the percentage of households that are hired and possessed are equal. It is evident from the chart that people are more interested towards non-rental housing as the time moves on. Rental places become less popular gradually but there is a slight increase in both rental and hired housing in 2011 compared to the previous year.
