Average CO2 emissions in 4 countries between 1967 and 2007
Average CO2 emissions in 4 countries between 1967 and 2007 bblPW
The graph is the illustration of the average amount of carbon dioxide emissions for each person in the United Kingdom, Sweden, Italy and Portugal between the years 1967 and 2007. The data was collected based on a yearly basis with 10-year difference.
Overall, both upward and downward movements are observed in details. The graphs show that all countries, except United Kingdom, had some considerable changes over the years. At the start of 1967, it is found that United Kingdom emitted the most amount of carbon dioxide with an average of almost 11 tons. It is, however, sudden and noticeable that the CO2 emission declined to approximately 9 tons during 2007.
Regarding Sweden, it is observed that, Sweden had the most drastic changes among the four countries between 1967 and 2007. Sweden initially emitted about 9 tons during 1967, which soared to 11 tons in 1977. It then made a massive drop to 7 tons in 1987 that continued decreasing to around 5 tons in 2007.
As for Italy and Portugal, the two countries had low CO2 emissions during 1967, which made a significant and dramatic rise to almost 8 tons and 5 tons respectively.
