The pie chart illustrates the proportion of the budget that is spent by a school in the UK for 3years. Overall, it is significant over the years more money were spent on teachers salary which accounted for over half the budget, while the lowest fraction used for insurance. Teachers salary experienced a fluctuation through the period with 40% in 1981, a slight increase in 1991 of 50%. however, 2001 experienced a fall to 45%. Similarly, the expenditure on furniture and equipment stood at 15% in 1981, a sudden decline to 5% in 1991. However, it rose sharply to 23% in 2001. The income spent on other workers salary Maintained a downward trend with me 28% in 1981, 22% in 1991 and a drop to 15 % in 2001. In contrast the lowest fraction was spent on insurance.
