I am writing this letter to complain about a problem which I find a bit troubling, to say the least.
Recently, I bought a shirt from your store at a discounted price. After taking that shirt home, I found out that it had a tiny hole just under the collar. Now, you might argue that it was my fault since I didn’t check the shirt carefully before purchasing it. In response, I would just say that it was not actually to learn about the tiny hole since it was hidden under the collar.
Anyway, as soon as I found out about the fault, I requested one of your store assistants for a complete return, but I was told that I wouldn’t get any refund since it was the store policy not to give any refund on an item which is sold on discount.
So, in light of this frustrating situation, I would like to request you to please take appropriate action for the sake of your store’s reputation and issue me a full refund for the defected shirt. If I do not hear from you within the next seven days, I will file a written complaint to your head office.
