Dear Mr Smith, I am a student of Business English and currently, I am in my last year of this course. Recently, the student counsellor informed me that the summer work placement programme is no longer being offered by the school. I have a few concerns regarding this sudden change for which I am writing you this letter. This programme is considered to be extremely useful for students as it enables us to gain practical knowledge and prepares us for the future. The reason I got enrolled in this course was because of this placement programme since no other course is currently offering such opportunities. Having said that, I had been working on the placement applications for quite some time solely for the purpose of getting to work with well-known organizations. Therefore, I would request you to kindly reconsider your decision and make this programme available especially for those students who are in their last year as it would help us to secure jobs after graduation.
