Hosting an international event is indeed good for the country and it's welfare. There might be cons for these events but they come with significant amount of pros too. They benefit the country greatly. Many people around the world are interested in sports events as it is widely entertaining to most of the people. When the event is held within the country, it may result in slight bit of increase in the tourism sector, as they come for the event too. This results in increase of foreign money inside the country resulting in increase in revenue too. As the event is broadcasted over internet or tv channels, it increases the engagement in local tv channels accros the world. It helps in promotion of the country in international level too. For example; once SAG event was held in our country nepal and it led to huge amount of increase in tourism as well as promotion of our country as many of our natural beauties were used in the promotion of SAG games. Hosting an international events gives huge amount of benefit for the country's welfare. But, it does come with it's own little bit of drawbacks. While hosting an international event, there's huge amount of tourists flooding into the country which leads to a breach in security as some loose criminals may enter with the floods too. An event of international event also overshadows other events of local and national level leading to the confidence of national players being somewhat crushed. Other national events are also lost into the dust because of wide exposure of the international event. It may lead to outstanding players shining in the light but other players who are trying their best for some national events may feel down. We can take one event to our reference, while the SAG games were being held, there as A league division football going on too, but it was overshadowed by the SAG games. Comments:
