The reading asserts that it is impossible to maintain a permanent human life on venuse due to some difficulties. The lecturer however finds the idea dubious and casts doubt on the reasons proposed by the reading passage. The lecturer confirms that there is some challenges in living on this planet but by establishing a floating station in 50 killometer above the atmospher the problems would be solved. First the author argues that since the atmosphere pressure at venus surface is much greater than that of earth, all spacecrafts would be crushed while are landing.
