I strongly oppose smoking in public places. First, smoking is extremely toxic not only for smokers but also for people around. In fact, did you know that the smoke exhaled by the smoker is more toxic than the smoke inhaled by the smoker himself? Just think about how that harmful smoke could damage the lungs of your loved ones. Second, it ruins the other's appetite especially if the smokers are in restaurants or cafes. The smell from the smoke damage their otherwise delicious experience. In addition, as it often is the case, a lot of smokers don't pay much respect to their surrounding people or environment. They tend to just throw away the cigar butts everywhere, which is really disgusting. Because of those stated reasons, I think smoking should be banned in public places.
