The diagram shows unemployment rates in rural and urban areas in Australia in 2012. During the fist quarter of the year, the factor in rural areas is facing a noticable decrease, however, the rate in urban areas is increasing. Both factors face decrease during the first half of the second quarter, and while the percentage is lowered by almost 1% in urban areas, it suddenly starts rising in rural areas. By the beginning of the third quarter, unemployment rate has already started to rise significantly in urban areas, while slightly decreasing in rural areas. The factor in urban areas faces a 0. 5% decrease right before the fourth quarter starts, and starts increasing again before the beginning of the last quarter of the year. However, the rate in rural areas didn't change noticably, and continues to decrease insignificantly during the fourth quarter. In conclusion, unemployment rate in rural areas decreased, but faced increase in urban areas during 2012.
