Overall it is seen that the purchase of refrigerator became popular in early years compared to other two types whereas this trend resulted in a dip of the working hours spent on washing clothes, cooking meals and cleaning tasks at home. Based on the first graph, fridges saw the sharpest increase in household ownership, starting at 0% in 1920 and skyrocketing to 100% in 1980. Likewise, a smoother trend was witnessed in vacuum cleaners, which rose to 100% of all homes later in 2000. Lastly, washing machine slightly rose till 1960 at 70% before fell to approximately 60% followed by a rise at a little bit above 70% at 2019. The second line chart provides the correlation between the purchase of essential household tools, with the amount of work at home dropped dramatically from a high 50 hours per week in 1920 to a mere 10 hours in 2019
