The table below shows the daily oil production in 4 different countries from 2000 to 2004 NVP9b
The table compares how much oil was manufactured on a daily basis in Nigeria, Chad, Congo and Somalia between 2000 and 2004.
Overall, although the daily generation of oil in Congo was initially the highest, it was exceeded by that in Nigeria at the end of the period. Moreover, the daily oil production in all nations had a tendency to rise, except for that in Congo.
It can be seen that Chad did not produce any oil during the first half of the period. Not until 2003 were approximately 10, 000 barrels generated per day, a year later, the amount of oil produced a day witnessed a dramatic growth to 50, 000 barrels. Meanwhile, in 2000, the daily oil manufacturing in Somalia was only 5, 000 barrels, which was one fifth as much as its figure in 2004.
Before declining to 215, 000 barrels at the end of the period, 275, 000 barrels were produced per day in Congo in 2000, at which point, the daily oil generation in the rest of the country was 205, 000 barrels. After slightly dropping to about 190, 000 barrels in 2002, Nigeria’s oil production a day went up and peaked at about 213, 000 barrels in 2004
