The given pictures illustrate the layout of Andijan in 1970 and also show the changes over 5 decades. It can be seen that the area developed a lot and become a city centre in a half of century.
Initially, Andijan was a green city with lots of trees nad flowers. It can be seen in the first picture the area was divided into four parts by local roads and amidst of the circulary for cars. In the north side of circulary was a big Govermental Hospital which is covered with full of trees and roses. In front of the clinil there were microdistrict. In the south side of circulary was a small forest and near to it Medical institute. In the west side of circulary was a small village which is circled with trees. According to the first map Andijan was more enriched with oxygen than 2020 year.
A lot of changes can be seen in the present view of Andijan. The clinic has walled on all four sides with two gates, one towards the west and the one towards the south. Next change was in circulary. It was totally demolished and car roads connected with each other. Additionally, in order to simplify and has not to make a traffic jam in four sides of main road have built additional roads only to right movement. Within five decades around the clinic have constructed full of new buildings. Medical Institute has renovated and besides of the institute has been building newest covered area. In the left side of the ASMI (Andijan State Medical Institute) have built sport college and a very big football stadium. On the outside of it has fountains. There were built instead of a small forest. Opposite of fountains have put a public TV which demonstrates various types of short advertisements. A small village has taken over to college and private hospitals. Many shops have opened from below of stadium.
Overall, Andijan developed into a busy commercial town over a period of half century.
