The line graph provides information about the figure of international students from three countries (Iran, Greece and Turkey), enrolling at Sheffield University from 2005 to 2009. Overall, it can be seen that the number of Turkish and Iranian students grew slightly from the beginning of the period until the end, while the trend of Greek students who enrolled at Sheffield University started off the highest among three countries but a significant drop of the number after its peak. To start with, in 2005, the number of Greek students, who studied at Sheffield University, was the at 180, compared to 39 and 21 students from Iran and Turkey respectively. The number of Greek students had a considerable drop to about 155 students in 2016 and 70 students in 2007, and remained steadily until 2008 before experiencing a gradual dip of the number to approximately 43 students in the year 2009. However, the trends of Turkish and Iranian students experienced no decline since the start of the period. That is, the figure of Iranian students climbed up around 20 units in 2006 and consistently increased until exceeding Greece’s rate in 2017 and ending up the highest at 160 students in 2009. Following this, the figure of Turkish students experienced a similar upward trend of Iranian students, but, however, ended up the second place at 121 students at the end of the period.
