Overall, it can be seen the process goes through 7 main steps, starting/commencing with picking olives from the trees and ending with storing and selling olive oil/ the final products to consumers. At the first stage of the olive oil-producing process, olives are harvested by farmers. These picked olives are then moved to a rinsing machine where they are washed in cold water, followed by being transferred to a smashing machine via belts. During the grinding process, olive stones were separated from the olives and removed while the rest of the fruits is ground into a paste. Before being put into a pressing machine, the olive paste is bagged with holes. Having been pressed, the products are transferred to a machine where they are separated into 2 parts being oil and water, and water is removed. Finally, the olive oil is packaged and transported/delivered to shops to store and sell.
