Overall, plastic, aluminium cans and glass containers followed upward trend, conversely the amount of paper and cardboard decreased. In detail, the amount of paper and cardboard recycled was 65%, while in 1982 it increased by 5%, whereas the amount of recycled glass containers decreased and reached to 55%. Furthermore, after 1982 both followed same trend till 1990. The proportion of recycled and cardboard decreased moderately till 2010 and reached to 70%, meanwhile the quantity of glass containers recycled showed opposite trend and reached to 60% in 2010. In addition, in 1982 the amount of aluminium cans recycled was 5%, on the contrary in 1998 it rised by 15%. After 1998 it increased sharply till 2010 which was 55%, moreover very tiny proportion of plastic was recycled in 1986, while in 1990 to 1998 it remain stable which was 5%.
