The proportion of part-time employees in 4 countries of the United Kingdom namely England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, and Wales is illustrated in the given bar graph from the year 1980 to 2010. At a fleeting glance, the noteworthy feature of the graph is that majority of the employees who worked part-time were higher in the country Wales during the year 2010. On further observation, in the year 1980, part-time workers in the country Northern Ireland were approximately 15%, which was 10% less than part-time employees in the country England during the year 1980. Moreover, in the year 2010, in England, part-time workers were 31 percent, which then gradually decreased to 12 %. On further observation, there was a major difference in the part-time employees in the country Scotland and Wales, where the former was 11 percent and the latter was more than the 30 %. Also, part-time workers in the year 2010, in the country Wales were 19%, which rose to 35 percent during the same year.
