The figure illustrates the manufacturing of carbonated drink products.
From a general perspective, the production of carbonated drinks consists of 5 distinct phases in total, initiating with water cleaning and ending with delivering products to the general public.
At the beginning stage, raw water from households flows in pipes to 3-step water treatment. In the first step of the water treatment system, water is filtered out to remove microparticles, then it is softened by the use of softeners and chemicals before pumping to electric heaters. In the second phase, purified water is transferred by cooling pipe to another device where the carbonation process takes place. During this process, carbon dioxide from another pipe is added to the water.
The carbonated water is then sent to a cylindrical tank in which it is mixed with coloring, syrup, and flavors, and filtered for the second time before being filled into bottles and cans. At this stage of the process, the finished beverages are packaged into boxes and distributed to supermarkets.
