To begin with, after being harvested by the farmers, the tomatoes are put in a basket and coming to the next step to be sorted for classification as good and bad tomatoes. After that, tomatoes are transported to the processing factory by trucks. In here, some parts of tomatoes such as stalks, seeds, and skins are removed. Following this, processed tomatoes are put in a container to prepare for the next step that is crushing. During the mashing phase, some additives like salt, sugar, and vinegar are added into the liquid tomatoes. Then, after boiling the mixture of tomatoes liquid in a pot, this liquid is left for 2 hours for cooling down. The next step, cooled down liquid is poured into ketchup bottles and these bottles are also labeled after that. Prior to being packed and transported to supermarkets to sell, all ketchup needs to experience a careful quality check by experts in plant. Finally, we’ve got the ketchup products that usually served with hamburger or fries.
