Initial 1980 chart shows that the majority of the students opted for higher education and the unemployment percentage was also very less 10%. And about 40% of the students took up employment. If we compare the charts we can realise that the in the 1990 the unemployment was slightly higher compared to the 80and 2000. An interesting point to consider is that the percentage of students taking up employment after secondary education is consistently raising. This is an alarming trend we should pay attention to. We need to spread awareness among the youngsters about the power of education and how it can positively impact the quality of life and encourage them to take higher studies. Awareness and education will contribute to the healthy society.
Though the unemployment issues is gradually reduced, I strongly feel that reduced higher education percentage is a cause of concern which needs to addressed in order to have a handsome society, where there is less poverty and suffering.
