More specifically, handling phone calls took the highest percentage in the working time in 1980, accounting for 30%. In the same year, it's striking that the figure of paper documents and meetings share a fairly identical pattern at 20%. In stark contrast, however, time spending on computers held merely 2% of the statistics.
