The supplied bar chart gives information about the children aged between 5-12 made the number of trips to travel to and from the school in two different years - 1990 and 2010 by using different modes of transport. overall, the children aged 5-12 have mostly used car passenger and waking as their mode of transport to travel to and from the school. whereas cycling, walking and bus and bus are used less when compared. In 2010, the children aged 5-12 made around 11 million number of trips to and from the school by using car passenger as their mode of transport, the highest among all other transports. however, it is reduced to half as they use walking as their transport i, e. , 6million trips per year. In the year 1990, walking rose to highest which is more than 12million number of trips made by children and only one third of trips are made by using car passenger which is least used among all. In 1990, cycling, walking and bus and bus are used less and is nearly half to walking. There is only moderate difference in using cycling, walking and bus and bus as their transport which did not cross 7million. whereas in 2010, cycling used the lowest which is only 2million trips per year which increased slightly around 1million by walking and bus. Finally reached 5million number of trips per year by bus by children.
