The bar chart illustrates the amount of money per week spent on fast foods including hamburgers, fish and chips and pizza in Britain. The preferences are divided into three groups by income: High, Average, Low From the bar graph, the expenditure on fast foods by the high income group and average group are the highest for hamburgers and pizzas while it is the lowest of low income group. The high and average income group spent 42 and 33 dollars on hamburgers respectively. The pizza was the second preference for high income group while the fish and chips were the second choice for average income group. On the other hand, the majority amount of money, which is 18 dollars was spent on fish and chips and 14 dollars on hamburgers and the least amount of money 8 dollars on pizza. The graph illustrates the trends in consumption of fast foods from 1970-1990. Overall, the consumption of fish and chips decreased over the years while the consumption of hamburger increased drastically. The consumption of pizza increased constantly by little by little. The usage of fish and chips deceased from 308 grams to 240 grams while hamburger increased drastically from 90 to 540 grams. The usage of pizza had a steady increase from 40 to 280 grams.
