Is it recommended taking a time before deciding your career? In my personal opion, yes. Now, even thou it is described to me as a time for getting some laboral or traveling experience only, I think there is so much more than that within that 'recess'. Even when this was not my case, I know there are people indecisive about what to do, pretty much, for the rest of their lives. When a person takes the time to get a job, no matter if it is casual or not, it provides a more accurate point of view towards the laboral world outside, which may help them get an idea of what to decide. I think it is remarkable that traveling is not useless since it takes out of your eyes that blindfold and expand your cosmo-vision. There are occupations that you would probably love but you just have not met yet; there may be things that you have to know before making such a relevant choice. I do not think or reinforce this time as something strictly necessary, nevertheless, I do believe each individual have to go through the process of selecting a University in a very personal way.
