In some countries, more and more people are searching for the history of the houses or buildings they live in. The most popular reason for this trend is it attracts people’s curiosity and their interests in history. First of all, curiosity. It’s an important reason because history is an important topic in our lives. For example, if you are living in an old castle or if you ARE living in an old townhouse you want to know what’s the story behind those walls, or why this material WAS chosen when the house was made because of the curiosity most of the people who live in those type of places want to know more about their house. Another reason is their family history. For example, if you are living in an old family house that was used by the family for 2 or 3 generations / 30 or 40 years you want to know more about the house because your family members have risen there and all of their lives spend there and this means there are so many memories includes this house maybe it’s the house where you are WERE born in or your grandfathers. For the research, people can use government resources about the parcel or about the building. Another formula for that is to ask locals and their family members because they live in those times. A different option is searching in history books or local guides about the house. To conclude, more and more people want to know about the history of their house and it’s mainly about curiosity and their family history and people can research this topic using different resources.
