This report derives from a bar graph which illustrates the export earnings of five categories in billions for a country between the years 2015 - 2016. Overall, earnings for export commodities such as Petroleum products, engineered goods, Agricultural products, and Textiles have increased in the year 2016 when compared to 2015. Valuable goods i. e. Gems, and jewelry are the only category that had seen a depletion in earnings within the same time frame. Extensively exported product, Petroleum’s earnings increased by 3% which estimates to approximately 62 billion dollars in 2016 which is matched by sales in engineered goods with an increased percent of 8. 5 from 2015. Agricultural products are associated with a negligible 0. 81% percent increase in export earnings making it inappreciable to the previous year’s sales. The plunge in earnings of the export commodity i. e. gems and jewellery amounts to a loss of approximately 2 billion with a 5. 18% decrease in sales from the year 2015. On the other hand, textile earnings skyrocketed with an increase of 15. 24% making it the most profitable sector when compared to the previous year's sales.
