The map illustrates the development of Youngsville in New Zealand over 25 years from 1980 to 2005. Overall in 1980, there was a large river which was called Alanah to the east of the city, and the river was divided by the small river that ran in the middle of the city. To the north of the city, there was a hospital. Near the hospital there was a lake and it was surrounded by trees. To the east of the city, there were houses. The basic facilities, such as airport, school and woodland area were built in the south of the city. There was also a railway station near the basic facilities. Over time, a lot of changes had been made in this city such as stadium, factories, warehouses. In 2005, the significant change was in the south of the river Alanah, a lot of trees were cut down and replaced with factories and warehouses. The houses that were built along with the railway were demolished to replace the skyscraper. The railway was extended to the north and all the houses in the east of the city were demolished and replaced with a stadium. At the mouth of the river, a Marina was built.
