The provided line graph illustrates the quantity of film tickets which were purchased globally in 1980 and 2010. To begin with, in 1980, comedy genre was on the top of the list with 650 million tickets bought, while the least popular genres were animation and documentary, with 100 million only. Interestingly, the number of sales over the next twenty years for two genres, documentary and animation remained almost the same, 100 and 250 million respectively. During the same period of time there was a gradual downward trend in the number of tickets bought. It is also worth mentioning that the number of amateurs of action movies doubled from 400 to 800 million, which was followed by an even more considerable growth until ot peaked at 2500. Furthermore, from 2000, all mentioned trends rose to some extend. However, documentary was and stayed at the bottom of the list.
