The diagram depicts the process of pencil production. The process consist of several stages starting with the growing of plant and ending with painting, sharpening and stamping.
In the initial stage of process plants are grown and after 4 months they are replanted to another place for better space. In the second stage after three years trees are thinned for better quality thereafter when trees are became mature after 14 years they are cut down for further process.
In the subsequent step, trees that are cut down are converted into thin slats by machines in factory and these slats are treated with certain types of chemicals to protect them, after 60 days of treatment the slats are grooved in filled with glue and block lead, thereafter a plane sheet is placed on the grooved sheet just like sandwich, in order to make pencil, then these both slats are hard pressed with heat and are ready cutting. Last but not least, from these slats one by one pencils are cut down and are ready to paint, sharp, and stamped. After this process, finally they are delivered to the local markets.
